JACK DRAHOTA
HELPING BUSINESSES SUCCEED THROUGH COMMITTED SERVICE.

Originally from Ravenna, NE, Jack Drahota has understood the importance of community service from an early age. In his Investor Relations and Government Affairs role, he helps maintain strong connections between the Chamber and local businesses, supports marketing efforts, and assists with organizing key projects and events.
Jack’s primary focus is monitoring and analyzing state and local policies that impact the Kearney business community. He tracks legislation, engages with elected officials, drafts policy positions, and leads advocacy efforts to promote a pro-business environment. He also conducts policy research, prepares legislative briefings, and advises Chamber leadership on regulatory and economic issues. Additionally, Jack facilitates stakeholder engagement, organizes policy roundtables, mobilizes grassroots advocacy campaigns, and represents the Chamber at government meetings and public forums.
With a passion for public service and strong communication skills, Jack is committed to effectively executing his role. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in May 2024 and plans to pursue a Master’s in Public Administration at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. His position at the Chamber marks his first role in the nonprofit sector, where he is eager to gain valuable experience. As a former UNK Track and Field athlete, Jack competed for four years, earning All-American honors in the 4x400 meter relay in 2023.
Outside of work, Jack enjoys playing sports, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He has also coached young track athletes and remains dedicated to mentoring aspiring runners.
