2020 NEW BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

The New Business of the Year award is presented to a deserving business who has shown dedication to the growth and prosperity of the Kearney area while supporting the community over competition mindset. This award was created by the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors who vote to selects the winner from the new members each year.

2020's New Business of the Year is awarded to Gambino's Pizza!

Spouses Seth and Karah Maschmeier opened Gambino’s Pizza in January 2020 and have been

serving the community in one of five Gambino’s Pizza Nebraska locations. Everything is made fresh, in-house, and all from original Gambino's recipes.

Seth and Karah have put their own special touch on the atmosphere of the Kearney space. Kearney scenes are incorporated throughout the store, such as the Lighthouse at Harmon Park, the MONA, and the Archway. Gambino's is not only known for delicious food, but also for contributing and giving back to the community.

Throughout 2020, Gambino’s gave back to the Kearney community by hosting appreciation days for those on the front lines, such as firefighters, police officers, health care workers, teachers, and others. To continue in these efforts, some positive plans for the future include fundraising opportunities! During their Tuesday evening buffets Gambino’s will donate 10% of the proceeds to a local organization or individual in need.

The buffet has been a big hit! It features daily specials along with calzones, breadsticks, dessert pizza, and a salad bar. Delivery and take out are also available. Extra pizza and topping options are offered because Gambino's understands that some dietary restrictions limit what customers are able to eat. They want to offer as many possibilitIes to a delicious meal as possible with dairy-free cheese and cauliflower crust.

Gambino's Pizza has a wide selection of pizza, pasta, sandwiches, calzones, wings, appetizers, salads, and desserts. Their staff selects the finest ingredients for the best toppings, taste and value. Just as Gambino’s slogan says, “you're gonna love it!” Beginning in a few short weeks, the buffet will be open again.

With a diverse and creative list of options on their menu, Gambino's is sure to be an enjoyment for all ages!
