The 28th Annual Career Exploration Day at the Nebraska Army National Guard was a tremendous success, thanks to the incredible support from our local businesses and Chamber members! We were thrilled to host over 1000 attendees, including students from 31 schools across Nebraska.
A special shout-out to the 80+ businesses, departments, and organizations that showcased their expertise and opportunities through engaging exhibits.
We appreciate the dedication of all participants who helped students discover the diverse career opportunities within our community.
The Nebraska National Guard Armory continues to graciously allow us to host this amazing event at their facility. They contribute lunches, weapons displays, static displays, tables, chairs, and staff. They help facilitate setup, cleanup, as well as grill over 700 hotdogs/hamburgers for participants and school attendees. They prepare months in advance to ensure a successful event. This year, they impressed us all by obtaining a CH-47 Chinook from Hastings, NE.
We are grateful for their continuous support and involvement with the Annual Career Exploration Day!
