AG COMMITTEE - AG SOCIAL EVENT

As a kick-off to planting season and an opportunity to bring together our Ag community and business community the committee hosted a social event on Wednesday, April 7th at Fanatics Sports Bar & Grill. Committee members, colleagues and area farmers were in attendance to celebrate with happy hour! Dave Roseberry with the Buffalo County Fairgrounds spoke with those in attendance about the 2021 Buffalo County Fair activities and concerts as well as improvements and changes around the fairgrounds. Candance Benge with the Kearney Area Farmer’s Market also spoke with the group about the upcoming Farmer’s Market season starting May 1st. The market is located next to Valentino’s at the Kearney Hilltop Mall, open Wednesdays 2:00-6:00 and Saturdays 8:00-1:00.
