BUILDERS RECEIVES DOING BUSINESS AWARD

The Colonels presented the Doing Business Award to Builders, located at 4600 2nd Avenue, on March 8th, 2022.

Builders has been a member of the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce for 35 years, family owned and operated for 45 years. VP of Nebraska & Marketing (and 2nd Generation Owner), Stacy Andersen-Bivona, received the award with her teammates for their exemplary work at improving and advancing their facility in Kearney. Builders has undergone some major changes within their Kearney facility, planned to be completed in two phases. The first phase being the hardware store side, and the second phase is the Design and Selection Center. With phase one being nearly 100% completed, the new store design features a convenient customer service and pick up area near the store entrance. As well, a new space for the flooring department to acclimate to room temperature thus helping contractors/installers with quicker installation. Per the DIY and contractor requests, Builders has increased the selection of DeWalt and Milwaukee Tools, and added a clothing selection featuring construction grade workwear. The full layout of the store is completely redesigned and coordinated in a way to find items faster and more efficiently.
