United Way of the Kearney Area & Pinnacle Bank, co-hosted a Business After Hours event at Pinnacle Bank, located at 5404 2nd Avenue on Thursday, September 7.
This special Business After Hours event was also the 2023 United Way Campaign Kick Off, as it included the tricycle derby, for local leaders to race on trikes across the parking lot. Ryan Ohri from the Kearney Police Department was named the ultimate victor!
The United Way "It All Adds Up" campaign addresses poverty, unemployment, family crises, lack of education, and health concerns in the area. Many people in the Kearney area find themselves in a cycle of unending crises. United Way's 21 Partner Agencies work with individuals and families struggling with these concerns.
This Business After Hours event was well-attended and was catered by Cunningham's Journal and attendees also had the opportunity to tour Pinnacle Bank here in Kearney which opened in 2022.
