The Chamber Agriculture Committee hosted a social at Cunningham's on the Bricks on Tuesday, April 30th. Thanks to Nebraskaland Distributing and Cope Ag Services for sponsoring.
The Ag Committee recently sold raffle tickets for the "Split the Pot" fundraiser, for the Ag Committee scholarship fund. The winner of half of the money raised, was Matt Meister of Coldwell Banker Town and Country Realty. Two agriculture scholarships were awarded this year, to area youth who are planning on pursuing a career in Agriculture.
The Agriculture Committee's purpose is to provide and support programs which promote agriculture and encourage urban/rural cooperation. This committee is open to all Chamber members. To inquire about joining the Ag Committee, contact Shanna, sschulte@kearneycoc.org.
