COLONELS – APRIL DOING BUSINESS AWARD

The April meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce with a social gathering to follow at Cunningham’s on the Lake. The Colonels discussed the upcoming annual Wally Derby to be held in May at Johnson Lake. They ended the meeting by presenting Josh and Kristen Graczyk of Graczyk Lawn & Landscape with the Doing Business Award to celebrate their new building and location at 1170 30th Ave. Although the Graczyk Lawn & Landscape business was started in Elm Creek and still operates a little in that area, the businesses has permanently moved to Kearney. The business has grown over the years to include lawn care services, Curb-it landscape edging, Hardscaping and snow removal. They currently have over 35 seasonal employees and look forward to operating from their new location.
