GROWTH DURING ADVERSITY

The Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce is constantly working to bring new opportunities to their members in all different forms. One that they are currently focusing on is Professional Development. The chamber wants to provide its members with ways to grow and in turn take on new challenges to help their business become the best it can be! In the interest of this focus, the chamber is currently working with Elijah from Rising Tide Leadership Development to provide a two part, 8-week course on Leading Through Adversity. This class will give business owners and managers insight on how to best utilize their team and talents during times of adversity.

Elijah began leading as a student assistant softball coach in his junior year at Evangel University. During his 3 seasons as assistant coach he was introduced to Sport Psychology. Seeing the benefits in performance and focus, he continued his education, earning a master's degree in Sport Psychology. Elijah's continued leadership development led to him joining the John Maxwell Team in February of 2019. John C. Maxwell is widely considered the #1 leadership expert in the world. This sparked the beginning of Rising Tide Leadership Development, which is focused on helping organizations and communities in Central Nebraska.
