HELP THEM EXPLORE!

This past year has required a lot of people to think outside of the box and get creative with how they have typically done things. Our Career Exploration Day is no different. We want to make sure we are providing ways to aide today's students in finding a path to their future career.

Your business has the opportunity to help them explore their options and provide helpful knowledge that will lead them in the right direction for their future. The Business & Education committee invites you to join them in participating in our virtual Career Exploration Experience for area high school students.

The virtual experience will be hosted on our website and will highlight your business with links to your website. You can also include videos about your business and the career opportunities you have available. Each business will fall within a Career Cluster for the students to explore.

This experience isn't just for businesses we encourage universities, state colleges and community colleges to participate with information about learning programs that will help students prepare for their future.

We want to provide students with the tools to help them succeed. Our Career Exploration page has great guides for them to map out their future, from helping them organize scholarship opportunities to developing a resume. Help us share these opportunities with over 60 area high schools. By sponsoring this virtual option you are supporting the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce Student Leader Scholarship Fund. This scholarship provides students who are looking to continue their studies at Central Community College and the University of Nebraska at Kearney, keeping local talent local.
