On Wednesday, May 25th, Kearney Physical Therapy Children’s Rehab Center held a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to celebrate their grand opening at 2707 2nd Avenue in Kearney. Many services are provided by Kearney Physical Therapy Children’s Rehab Center. Pediatric Occupational Therapy assists children in performing daily functional tasks and acquiring the skills children need for the “job” of being a child. Pediatric Physical Therapy helps children reach their maximum potential for functional independence by treating movement disorders. Pediatric Speech Therapy helps children develop functional communication, as well as diagnose and treat speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders which may result from illness or injury.
