On April 30, Brix celebrated with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony!

Brix brings the history of “the bricks” of downtown Kearney to life. Back in 1915, the Kearney City Council passed an ordinance to pave Central Avenue with brick, firing up the kiln and paving the street all within that year. Now in 2021, “the bricks” has developed into a popular downtown area and Brix features signature drinks, like “The Kiln” and “1915,” to show their appreciation.

After opening in March 2021, a wide variety of cocktails, beer brews, and a large shot board help Brix to stand out. RockOut Karaoke can be found entertaining and enticing the crowd every Tuesday night. Indulge in custom cocktails or shots hand-selected for each sporting event, college night, and fundraiser. Brix invites customers to get involved by hosting memorial scholarship fundraisers to support members of the community.

Fun events encourage customers to get creative, such as their opportunities for becoming a “Brix mixologist” in which customers submit their clever ideas for new cocktails or shots ideas. The selected ideas are featured on one of the boards in the Brix for other customers to indulge in.
