SENIOR COALITION GETS A SNEAK PEEK AT CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS

Hard hats were donned for the Senior Coalition's visit to the new location of the Kearney Chamber, Visitors Bureau, and Development Council for Buffalo County at 220 W 11th Avenue.

Construction is still underway for the modern upgrade, which will feature not only contemporary offices and exclusive shared meeting areas, but also a vast training room, a board room, and a top-notch welcome center that will serve as the gateway to Kearney and the Platte River Valley.

The 2,000 sq. ft. Visitors Center will include interactive and innovative features that will engage visitors while showcasing the history and culture of the Kearney and the surrounding area. The new site will include highly visible, accessible, and ample parking to accommodate travel trailers and RVs.

The building will provide the same and many more amenities to our members, community, and visitors while telling the story of what has made the Kearney area what it is today.  For many decades, the three organizations have been honored to serve the Kearney area business community, developers, site selectors, and visitors from across the state, nation, and world.  These partnerships have propelled the shared office as the “front door” to Kearney, which is thriving and has much to be proud of.
