SENIOR COALITION VISITS BILLY JACK'S PIZZA PUB

On Tuesday, March 22, the Senior Coalition learned all about the inner workings of Billy Jack’s Pizza Pub, located at 810 3rd Ave in Kearney. Owner Bill Winberg, a Broken Bow native, was inspired by the food business at a young age working as a General Manager for Subway in his late teens. After he moved to Kearney in 2010, he learned management and restaurant skills through his 25-year role as Director of Operations for the Nebraska/Wyoming region of Applebee’s. Winberg is planning to open 2 more Billy Jack's locations in Cheyenne, Wyoming sometime in May of 2022. Members of Senior Coalition learned the pizza ovens at Billy Jack's have the capacity and technology to cook the pizzas faster than the average pizza oven, and offers a plethora of toppings. To add to the full bar with a special frost cooling rim, a new drink was designed by Winberg called “Billy Brew”, a smooth vanilla cream ale. Billy Jack’s Pizza Pub will be celebrating their one-year anniversary in April of 2022 with 24 employees, over half of which are the original employees from the initial opening. Whether it’s satisfying your breakfast needs with French toast sticks, breakfast burritos, or biscuits and gravy pizza or meeting your coworkers for a custom-made pizza and a cold Billy Brew after work, Billy Jack’s Pizza Pub has everything you want!
