The Senior Coalition was able to be the first public group to visit the newly remodeled Trails and Rails Museum and Buffalo County Historical Society. The expansion of the Family History Center will better serve Buffalo County. Not only will this space be used for continued storage, but it will also be utilized for additional programming, displays, and events!

The group was also delighted to view the many decorated trees displayed for the upcoming Christmas Tree Walk, which will take place the first two weekends in December (4th & 5th and 11th & 12th) and the week in between (6-10) from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Jon Garner spoke to the group about the pros and cons of possibly bringing an Indoor Sports Complex to Kearney. More information can be found at the website https://kearneyindoorsports.com/.

Kearney’s sesquicentennial in 2023 is getting closer and closer! In preparation for the 150-year celebration, Trails & Rails wants to begin collecting the Family Histories section of the book.

We understand that some family histories here in Buffalo County are longer than others, but here are some guidelines to follow and what we need from YOU! Click here for guidelines.
