One Word: Cupcakes.

Starting in 2014 in Papillion, NE and in 2015 opening in Kearney with a mission to cause happiness and make people's day, Smallcakes: A Cupcakery has been successful at completing their mission for 5 years strong. If you walk into the Hilltop Mall, you'll immediately catch the aroma of their delicious cupcakes, cakes, milkshakes, and more and you'll be smiling all the way to the counter! RaChell and her husband, Kerri spent their lives moving while Kerri served in the United States Coast Guard. During their moves they came across Smallcakes and after several discussions, decided to take the plunge and open their business. RaChell said she never intended to work directly in the stores, but now she bakes full time and absolutely loves every minute. We asked what her favorite flavors of cupcakes are and she said for sure the Everything Fall cupcake which is available now, and next the Irish Car Bomb which will be available at Oktoberfest along with a few other alcohol infused cupcakes!

If you ask RaChell what her favorite part of Smallcakes is, she says without hesitation that doing fun things for organizations and those in need is the best. It falls right into line with their motto: Maybe a cupcake will help. With over 200 flavors of cupcakes and at least 15 available at their counter every day, there will always be plenty to help! RaChell also wanted to mention that without her wonderful staff, helping so many others wouldn't be possible. She said they are the best people and the greatest part of her business!

In case you were wondering why we are sharing all this info, we are gearing up for Oktoberfest and will be sharing the background of each of our breweries and food vendors attending. When asked why Smallcakes is excited to attend, RaChell said that it is an honor to be asked to showcase their product in front of 1000+ people. We at the Chamber feel just as honored to have Smallcakes attending!
