THE ENVOYS VISIT THE CROWNE PLAZA

On Tuesday, June 7th, the Envoys were guided on an informative tour of the Crowne Plaza by Catering Manager, Michala. The hotel includes 172 sleeping rooms, an indoor water park, gourmet restaurant Fyre, the Y Boutique, and Starbucks coffee shop. Fyre will have both a conference area and hotel entrance point. As the hotel does not offer continental breakfast, Fyre will provide breakfast options for hotel and public guests. There are no sleeping rooms located on the first floor which helps avoid noise from the pool, parties, or conventions. Each sleeping room rental is provided with 5 complimentary pool passes with the option to purchase additional passes.

Younes Conference Center North, with 75,000 square feet of meeting space, can accommodate groups of up to 2,500 people. Two large ballrooms labeled Gold and Silver, each able to be broken down to 12 individual rooms, offer custom lighting that sets the mood of any event as it lights the entire room with the option of over 100 different colors. A hidden hallway allows the wait staff to easily serve multiple events without causing traffic congestion. This hallway also serves as a sound barrier between events and provides storage space. Adding to the many accommodations, this facility provides garage door access to the conference rooms, allowing convenient large loading and unloading access. The upstairs also holds seven additional breakout rooms, 3 larger rooms accommodating up to 72 people, and 4 smaller rooms accommodating up to 48 people. All rooms provide LCD projectors and zoom capabilities.
