WORKING FATHER OF THE YEAR 2022

The Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce awarded Kearney Family YMCA Facilities Director, Rob Cooley, with our Working Father of the Year award for 2022. We were joined by Rob's family and special guests from NTV's Good Life to help surprise him! The Working Father of the Year award celebrates a working father who exemplifies passion, leadership, and resilience that make devoted parents great workers.

Liz Cooley, Rob's wife, nominated him for this award. "Rob is an amazing father and works so very hard each and every day. He is on call 24/7 for the YMCA and does all he can to make it a better place for all, especially families. He is always looking for ways to better the YMCA for the members to enjoy," she said, "Although he works so hard, he never misses any of his 4 children's school events, field trips, concerts, dance recitals, sports events, and the list goes on."

Donations for the Working Father of the Year Award were Card My Yard, NTV's Good Life, Graczyk Lawn and Landscaping, Fanatics Sports Bar, Billy Jack's Pizza Pub, Central Mercantile feat. Ktown Cakery, True Value, Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers, and the Kearney Family YMCA.
