YP WEEK

The Kearney Young Professionals Network hosted YP Week October 18-22, 2021. Throughout the week, current and new members met for networking and professional development opportunities! The YPN Board and committees put together a variety of great events, ensuring the events accommodated young professionals’ interests and schedules.

The YP Wake Up event kicked off the week. Attendees were invited to listen to Steve Zimmerman from Parker Hanifin speak while enjoying Barista’s Daily Grind.

On Tuesday, attendees spoke with the owners of McCue’s Taproom and the architect of the building during “Behind the Business.”

The Kearney Country Club created a great atmosphere for a “Strictly Social” event on Wednesday where members had the opportunity to network with old and new friends!

Thursday’s “Table Talks” event hosted Jarrod and Joe with Five Nines, who shared tips on how to transition from employee to manager.

To wrap up the week, members met at Axe Holes for a fun evening of socializing and networking while supporting a new business in Kearney!
