Each Spring the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce awards different scholarship to area high school students. Our Chamber Committees work hard to provide support to our students who are our future workforce. AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP.
Applications are available in January of each year and the deadline is April 1st. The Chamber scholarships are as follows:

Two $1,500 Agriculture scholarships will be awarded to students from Buffalo or Kearney Counties who are planning on pursuing a career in Agriculture
BRUCE BLANKENSHIP LEADERSHIP IN BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP.
Applications are available in January of each year and the deadline is April 1st. The Chamber scholarships are as follows:

One $1,300 scholarship will be awarded to students from Buffalo or Kearney Counties who are planning on pursuing a career in business.
FRIENDS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT SCHOLARSHIP.
Applications are available in January of each year and the deadline is April 1st. The Chamber scholarships are as follows:

One $1,600 scholarship will be awarded to students from Buffalo or Kearney Counties who are planning on pursuing a career in law enforcement or a similar field.
MARK BENJAMIN BUILDING OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP.
Applications are available in January of each year and the deadline is April 1st. The Chamber scholarships are as follows:

$1,250 Mark Benjamin Building Opportunity Scholarship will be awarded to a student planning on attending a two-year college or trade school to pursue a career in the construction trades industry
STUDENT LEADERS SCHOLARSHIPS.
Applications are available in January of each year and the deadline is April 1st. The Chamber scholarships are as follows:

$1,660 Student Leader Scholarship will be awarded to a student planning to attend University of Nebraska Kearney

$830 Student Leader Scholarship will be awarded to a student planning to attend Central Community College-Kearney Center
